WEST Ham star Mark Noble drew a record crowd to Grays Shopping Centre this afternoon.

21-year-old Canning Town born hero Mark Noble came to Grays for a signing session with fans in the main precinct at Grays Shopping Centre.

Adoring fans turned out in their hundreds to see the midfield maestro.

Mark, who regularly comes to visit Grays to see long-time friend and footballer Chris Cohen, said: "I love coming down to Grays.

"The people are always really friendly and the town looks great on a hot day like this."

Mark sees West Ham challenging for a European place next season and backs the club's board to do the right business in the summer and bring a few fresh faces in.

He added: "I'm confident we'll have a good year next season. Alan (Curbishley), has really brought us together this year, and with a lot of hard work in training over the summer, I know we'll do well."
