A GRAYS-based language programme for young people has won a national award for being the best in its class.

La Jolie Ronde based at St Thomas' Church Hall in East Thurrock Road, Grays has won Best Language Class in the National Children's Activities Awards Scheme, supported by What's on 4 Little Ones.

The company are holding a joint celebration, as this year is also their silver jubilee.

Employing a style of teaching that allows children to interact with their teachers using physical gestures and hand movements, La Jolie Ronde believes that they have the ideal method for teaching languages to young people.

Danielle Chinnon, from La Jolie Ronde, said: "Learning French comes easily to young children and it is the ideal time to familiarise them with sounds and patterns of a new language."

To find out more contact Danielle on 07976828658 or email her at Dchinnon@aol.com.
