James rises to take £1,000 cheque

A THURROCK man has been named 'Rising Star 2008' at an industry awards ceremony.

James Goodfellow who works as an analyst for Credit Suisse, won recruitment specialists Badenoch & Clark's top award, walking away with a cheque for £1,000.

The awards, in collaboration with 'Here is the City', recognise the ever increasing importance of back and middle office staff in the financial services industry.

Mr Goodfellow's manager, Steve Poessinouw, VP Asset Servicing, Credit Suisse, said: "James is a consistently high performer, a complete all rounder and one of the best team players I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

"The Rising Stars Awards are a fantastic way of recognising up and coming talent in the City, and we are delighted that he has been named Badenoch & Clark's Rising Star 2008."
